All I Want For Christmas

I am trying to capture moments here... trying my best to catch them while I can. This little baby is growing right before our very eyes, and I am trying to remind myself to be still. So, this Holiday season, I don't want anything... except to sit right here and hold this precious gift in my arms.

Where does the time go?

Christmas time is here. Who knew that days could fly? They are flying indeed, and our little August is growing so fast. Snow flakes are falling now on our little town while he sleeps in his bassinet. We finally managed to finish most of the projects in the nursery...at least for now. Steve finished building the crib literally a few hours before my water broke! Here are a few photos of our darling boy, and the nursery.

Lazy Saturday Afternoon

A lazy saturday afternoon in October... it doesn't get much better than this.  Sleeping in (while I still can before the little one arrives).  A good cup of coffee.  Sun coming in through the open window.  Gold Leaves on the trees.  I am reminded on these days to take it slow, breathe in deep this Autumn air, and give thanks.
